Chalet Nanouk is one of Val d’Isere’s picture perfect chalets within walking distance of the village centre and main lift stations.

The traditional chalet built with local stone and wood, has been lovingly furnished to provide that much desired, homely atmosphere.

Spread over three floors, Nanouk is the ideal size for a group or 12 or 14. With plenty of room for everybody to put their feet up in the large living/dining room, stories of the day’s (or previous night’s) antics are bound to start flowing! For those with weary limbs, we recommend heading down to the wellness area to jump in the Jacuzzi or relax in the steam room!

Take the train to the Alps this winter!

From the 17th of December until the 14th of April this coming season you can take the Eurostar train to the Alps direct from London St Pancras.

If you dislike the thought of air travel then the Eurostar is the best option for you! You can board the train at 2200 on a Saturday evening, and after a great nights rest you will be in the mountains by 6am the next morning:  ready and raring to start your ski holiday!

The Eurostar is accessible to resorts such as Val d’Isere and La Plagne where you will find some amazing chalets that we include on our portfolio, such as Choucas Noir – a beautiful chalet apartment in the centre of Val d’Isere or Summit View, Lucerne Suite a “ski in, ski out” suite located on the piste front in La Plagne.

Exciting news at Chalet Maldeghem, Klosters

Between the dates of 18-22 January Polo on Ice comes to Klosters, and Chalet Maldeghem will have it’s own exclusive hospitality tent where guests can watch the game and meet the players.

Chalet Maldeghem is also using a new event manager who can organize a variety of extra services. She will greet you on arrival at the chalet, and is happy to discuss with you the varied selection of special events that can be arranged.  Some of those on offer to Maldeghem guests include dinners at the ice hotel or remote mountain inns (with a torch-led descent), off-piste skiing into Austria (day trips of up to 40 km), and late lunches in delightful mountain restaurants.

Introducing Chalet Fourmiliere, Morzine

The Oxford Ski Company are delighted to announce that a new catered chalet in Morzine has just been added to our portfolio.

Chalet Fourmiliere is a completely renovated early 19th Century farmhouse, just outside Morzine resort centre. Unlimited transfers to and from the slopes and town centre are provided by the chalet staff throughout your stay.

The chalet has 6 luxury en suite bedrooms, which can accommodate up to 12 guests comfortably with room six offering additional space for 2 young children. Each bedroom is individually decorated to a high standard offering twin or double beds.

Skiathon announced a runaway success!

• Last week’s Disability Snowsport UK’s Skiathon was a huge success!  Although no one reached the targeted runs of 666, the Oxford Ski Team came close at 498 and came 3rd overall on the day!  The donation total to date is £665, just £1 off the targeted £666, and you can still donate until the end of June, so please give generously to a great cause!

Regional station Anglia TV was there filming and even managed to get some great shots of the team.  A great day was had by all, with some very tired bodies and sore legs in the office the next day.
