Septieme Ciel – luxury rooms!

If you are a smaller group of say two to six people, finding a luxury chalet is sometimes a difficult task as most chalets only sell their properties on an exclusive use basis and this seriously limits your access to some of the best chalets (unless you are willing to pay lots of empty bed charges). The other option is to book into a hotel, but for many this is not quite the same as having the informality and home from home that a chalet offers.

However, we are pleased to announce that one of the best chalets in Verbier will be available to book on a room by room basis next winter. For most weeks of the season you can book Chalet Septieme Ciel on a room by room basis with prices ranging from £1,245 to £1,690 per person. This price includes a hearty breakfast each morning, a warm welcome of home-made cake and tea on your return from skiing, along with a gourmet experience each evening with canapes and fine wine. The chalet is perched above the centre of Verbier and its hot tub offers, arguably, the best views in the resort. A chauffeur service runs from early morning until 4am so that those of you with some energy left to visit town after dinner are taken effortlessly from door to door. We can also look into flight and transfer options for you.

Contact The Oxford Ski Company for more details or take a look at Septieme Ciel on our website for more information.

Focus On Verbier

This charming well known Swiss resort is simply one of the best ski resorts in Europe and well worth visit. It is a lively resort with plenty going on throughout the season so is perfect for skiers and non skiers alike.

As part of the Four Valleys area, Verbier has large amount of skiing for all levels, but is particularly good for those who are of an intermediate level and above. Experts will enjoy the challenges that Mont Fort and Tortin have to offer, intermediates have plenty of runs to chose from especially over at Savoleyres and beginners have a dedicated slope just up the hill from the centre of town. For those who wish to explore further, we can arrange a guide for you who will be able to take you to the vast amount of fantastic off piste that there is.

For non skiers, the lift network is great for getting up the mountain for sight seeing and meeting up with family and friends for lunch. Other activities include parapenting, airboarding, spa treatments, swimming and much more.

The town has maintained its traditional alpine feel as the buildings are all chalet style, so you won’t find any high rise, ugly tower blocks that you find in some purpose built resorts. The town centre is based around Place Central and from here there are a wide range of shops, bars, restaurants and clubs. During peak weeks, restaurants and clubs get booked up well in advance so it is well worth asking our opinion so that we can make reservations for you.

There are plenty of luxury chalets and apartments in Verbier, so whether you want an apartment in the centre of town or a traditional chalet, we will find the right accommodation for you. With many of the larger chalets being based slightly further out from the centre, many of the chalets come with a driving service. This is excellent for getting to and from the lifts and the town, and with some running until the small hours it doesn’t mean you have to cut your night out short.
